Awesome value, Great location.
Stayed for 3 nights and had an excellent time. Many room types to accommodate varying needs. We were in the front of the hotel and had an amazing view of the mountains from our window. Indoor hot tub was clean and HOT! 2 private bathrooms adjacent to hot tub area made showering before and after very easy. Well appointed common area with fully stocked kitchen, pool table, TV, and lounging area. Staff were attentive and friendly. Located smack dab in the middle of Fernie. Minutes to walk to downtown, bars, and restaurants. Next time we are in town this is where we will be staying without a doubt. Thanks to the powder mountain lodge for their excellent service. It made our trip as there was no snow to speak of at the time. Only downside was mild traffic noise at night. Mountain view made up for that.
Cozy and friendly
I recently spent a weekend at the Lodge. The weather was chilly, the welcome was warm, the room was clean and snug. I especially liked the community kitchen that was available to all, and we ended up eating and cooking there instead of seeking the privacy of our own kitchen in our suite. The wood fireplace nearby was a friendly gathering point as well. I'm looking forward to the next time I stop over in Fernie…definitely plan on stopping here.
